Island of Pag, island of crystal clear blue sea, cheese, honey and lace.
The island of Pag is the fifth largest Adriatic island with the longest coastline on the Adriatic (269 km). The largest bay, the bay of Pag, is surrounded in beautiful gravelly beaches: Sv. Duh, Cista, Prnjica, Filino, Zrce. The 15th century center of the town of Pag is the most precious historical heritage of the island. Seaside tourism is greatly helped by the mediterranean climate. There is a long dry hot season and the average monthly temperature from May to September is over 20 degrees C. The sea is warm enough for swimming from May till October.
